Welcome to the Owls Class Webpage! To our wonderful parents, well here we are! The next phase!
We completely understand the difficulties you may have faced, choosing whether to send your child back to school. Please understand that whatever you have chosen, you have done the right thing for you and your family. We will be here for you either way. But now we have the task of creating another new system of home learning and school learning. We have set about this task and hope you can bear with us till we get it all up and running smoothly.
If you have chosen to keep your child at home, then you can access a run down of what has been covered in school each week, by looking at the class webpage on the Friday of that week. This is so you can also cover some of the same skills the following week if you wish to. Rest assured there is no expectation that you do.
Until Friday arrives, please look at these websites for daily lesson ideas:
Whiterose Maths Home Learning
Oak National Academy
Teach your monster to read
We will be looking at emails on Wednesday at the email@example.com address if you need to communicate with us but unfortunately we can’t dedicate as much time to this as we have been doing.
Most importantly, stay safe and we look forward to seeing you again when the time is right for you.

As well as getting involved in designing and participating in Powell Corderoy’s Sports Day 2020, why not have a go at the Virtual Surrey School Games (see links and documents below). The first challenge is a fitness challenge that will last for 10 days. You can let me know how you have got on via your class teacher, and I’ll compile a chart to show which class has got involved the most. As well as improving your scores, I’ll be looking to see who has been showing the School Games values of Determination, Self Belief, Passion, Respect, Teamwork and Honesty. You can also with your parents permission enter via the Active Surrey website (deadline 14th June). I hope you have fun with all these activities and I look forward to hearing how you have got on.
